After a successful concert on Wednesday as part of The Voices of London Festival, Icosa return to London to perform again. This time as part of the London International A Capella Choral Competition.

The London International Festival is a fantastic competition set up in 2014 by Peter Phillips, Director of The Tallis Scholars, to bring choirs together from around the world to London to learn, listen and most importantly, compete with other choirs! Our friends, Sansara, won the competition in 2015 and some of our other friends, The Fisher Consort, are competing this year. Good luck to their musical director, Jonathan Schranz and to all the Fisher Consort singers!

Icosa have been called upon at short notice to fill a slot for a lunchtime recital but we will not be competing in the competition. We perform a similar programme to the one we sang a few days ago at The Voices of London Festival. LIACCC has a focus on Arvo Pärt's music this year so we have added one of his pieces to our programme. It is free so we hope to see you there on your London lunch-break!
