On the 16th May 2017, Luke and 8 of Icosa's Singers sang in BBC Radio 4's Daily Service Programme. This worship programme is broadcast every day on long-wave radio and is listened to by many people from across the world. 

Each week explores a different topic and this week's theme was Discipleship. The day's focus was on 'Accepting the Call'. The day's presenter, Alexander Douglas, led enthusiastically with tales of his first purchase of a mobile phone as a student. One of our Sopranos, Freya Turton, read a bible passage too.

Icosa sang two hymns - Lord you call us on your journey (Bishop) and Put thou thy trust in God (Doncaster). We also sang a very lively piece by the late William Mathias - 'Make a Joyful Noise'. All of this was expertly accompanied by Graham Eccles on the organ.
